where prayer & creativity come together
My own deep and personal journey with God, my angels, and my belief that "self-prayer is self-care" fuel my commitment to work with Christians who have an open mind, open heart, and willingness to grow and engage in their own personal journey with God, in whatever form He or She comes to you.
I have had to explain and even had to defend my belief that energy work, such as Reiki, and even my creation of art angels, holds true to my Christian faith. For me, some of God's greatest creations are animals, flowers, stones, colors, etc. They were given to humans as gifts, ways to show His love, and placed in our care. She also created humans to be, well, humanitarian. And to me that means we love, support, and encourage one another on our personal journeys, including our various faiths and relationships with God in Her many forms.
With this in mind I created a Neurographic drawing course called “Self-Prayer As Self-Care”. Christians, and I think especially women, have a hard time “being selfish” and praying to God for help for themselves. If we do, its sort of snuck in as a small part of the larger prayers for others. I found that Neurographica is a wonderful way to engage our creativity with God. For those of you saying “But I’m not an artist”, I promise you it does not matter. A key principle of Neurographica is that “it’s the process, not the product.”
This course is done in a small group in-person setting over 3, 2-hour sessions. A 4th bonus session can be added if the group wants additional time.
Since these sessions will lile y be done for an organized group within a church community, please contact me to talk about and set-up a course which is best for your group.
